SO, you'd like to learn more about using the the search? Hopefully this page will clear things up in a relatively simple manner!

Start your search by using the search box, located at the top of every page on the site. Enter your search term. You can use a band name, artist name, instrument, venue, city, or state. Once you’ve entered your search term, click “GO” (indicated by #1 in the picture below).
- The results of your search will be displayed. The total number of items found will be shown, along with the images you are currently viewing (indicated by #1 in the picture below). You can see more results (whenever the number is greater than 15) by clicking on the page numbers (indicated by #2 in the picture below) or the “more images” button (indicated by #3 in the picture below). In the near future, the advanced search box (indicated by #4 in the picture below) will allow you to target your search even further. If you’re not finding what you’re looking for, check the Index of Photos (located on the far left of the blue navigation bar) to see if the show, group, or artist is included in this site (click here to see how this section works). Now that you’ve found the image you want to see, select it from the thumbnails displayed and click on it. This will give you a larger version of the photo!
- The image gallery page will now be displayed with your image enlarged. The image scroller (indicated by #1 in the picture below) will let you view other images in the series. To do so, click an image and it will load in the viewing area. The page number tool is now above the image scroller area (indicated by #2
in the picture below). Use these numbers to see the other pages of images that
match your search (when there are more than 15 results). You can see the details of any photo by mousing over the
"Info" button (indicated by #3 in the picture below).
